This archival collection documents a transformative era at Lehigh University through the lens of Elia Schoomer ’72 when he was an undergraduate. Arriving in Fall 1969, Schoomer captured campus life, documenting pivotal moments such as the Spring Strike of 1970 and the admission of undergraduate women in 1971.
Central to this collection is the formation of the Lehigh Forum. After graduating, Schoomer returned to serve on the university staff for 43 years.
