BeaBohema, Issue 3

Gene Klein, later known as Gene Simmons, one of the frontmen of the hard-rock band KISS, had published in BeABohema when he was 19 years old. He was born in Haifa, Israel, in 1949 as Chaim Witz, and came to the US with his mother Flora Klien. They settled in Queens, NY. Gene Simmons tried a variety of work, including assistant editor of Vogue before embarking on his music career.
