Television Drama Series Programming
As the production of audio and video media exploded in the 20th century, libraries had to adapt to accommodate the needs of their users. Lehigh Libraries made much of this media, such as popular music and documentaries, directly available to the University community. In addition to media that supported the curriculum, reference works that provide detailed information about film and television were also crucial to researching the media landscape. This work gives a simple list of television programs that aired during the given time period along with a list of their episodes and the actors and actresses that appeared in the shows. The modern web equivalent of this reference work is the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), which now contains information on over 8 million television episodes.
