-Ficciones
The Argentinian Jorge Luis Borges was one of the 20th century’s most imaginative authors and served as the director of the National Library of Argentina. This collection contains Borges’ most well known short stories, many of which feature distinctive imaginary places. “The Library of Babel” is imagined as an infinite number of hexagonal rooms, each containing twenty shelves of books, each printed with a random but unique series of letters. This infinite nature means that every possible book that could ever be written is contained within the library.
