Robert B. Honeyman - (1897-1987)

Engineer, book collector, and Lehigh University trustee Robert Brodhead Honeyman graduated from Lehigh University in 1920 with a Metallurgical Engineer degree. Honeyman became an avid rare books collector and donated about 3000 volumes in arts, humanities, literature and science between the 1920s and 1980s, which included the first edition of the Encyclopédie. Many of the other books on display also originate from Honeyman’s extensive collection.
