The Fritz Engineering Laboratory

Fritz Lab was equipped for testing steel, cement and concrete and housed an 800,000 pound Riehle and a 300,000 Olsen universal testing machine. It was used by the Civil Engineering department and named after John Fritz, known as the father of the steel industry in the U.S. and a Lehigh trustee.
