Final Assembly

First Edition. This novel portrays the daily lives of workers at a WW2 aircraft plant. The jacket copy describes the author as himself an aircraft worker; given the local nature of the production, we would surmise he was a Pennsylvanian living in the Lehigh Valley region, and probably plied his trade at the Consolidated-Vultee manufacturing facility in Allentown (site of manufacture of the TBU-1 Torpedo Bomber).
