Your Letter mentions that you have nine weeks vacation in the

year. I would thank you to inform me at what time they are fixed, and if

they are not at all at one time, how long each vacation continues. And as we

propose to send out young friend to Cambridge, I might also request that you

ascertaining what has been his proficiency, you would be good enough to

let me know.
