Location:Linderman Library, Reading Room, main level

Description: Birds have been the subject of worship, observation, and storytelling throughout time, and their study has both aided science and inspired citizen scientists for centuries. This exhibit brings together highlights of the Lehigh Libraries Special Collections extensive natural history collection where artists including Audubon, Gould, and others, are well-represented.

Rediscovering Miles Rock

Dates: August 26 - December 20, 2024 (Fall 2024)

Location: Linderman Library, Cafe Gallery, lower level & Bayer Galleria, Linderman, room 342

Description: Miles Rock-an intrepid naturalist, civil engineer, astronomer and Civil War soldier-was one of the five men who composed Lehigh's first graduating class. His journals, maps, and letters in this exhibit tell Rock's multifaceted story.

Hill to Hill Bridge at 100

Dates: Novemebr 11, 2024 - December 20, 2025 (Fall 2025)

Location: Bayer Galleria, Linderman Library, room 342

Description: Moravian Archives and Lehigh University Special Collections present a special joint exhibit to mark the hundredth anniversary of the opening of the Hill to Hill Bridge in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on November 1, 1924. This joint exhibit features a wide range of items from their holdings, as well as items loaned by other local historical institutions.
